This event is an important occasion for members, as it enables all of us to come together to hear reports on the state of the credit union. You will have the opportunity to make comments, offer suggestions, and ask questions about all things related to UniWyo.

There are two Board Member terms expiring in 2024. The Nominating Committee met and has nominated incumbents Joe Wiesen and Darcy Bryant for reappointment. No election is scheduled, although additional nominees may be presented through petition. The petition must contain at least 500 signatures and be accompanied by a statement from the nominee stating that he or she is agreeable to the nomination and will serve if elected. Petitions must be delivered to UniWyo by February 9th, 2024.
- Joe Wiesen: Joe was raised in Laramie as the son of a UW Microbiology Professor and has been a member of UniWyo since he was a young boy. Joe was a United States Navy Seabee and a University of Wyoming graduate from the class of 1997 before traveling the U.S. with Kiewit Construction, managing Heavy Highway projects. He settled back in Cheyenne, Wyoming in 2002 and is now the Wyoming President/General Manager of Knife River Construction, with divisional offices in Cheyenne and Laramie. Joe and his wife Angie, a teacher and WPRA professional barrel racer, have 3 boys, ages 23, 21, and 15. Joe has served on various boards in Cheyenne. His experience managing the finances and large budgets on state, federal, and private industry projects, as well as dealing with large groups of employees and their financial needs, brings a unique perspective to the table for the future success of UniWyo and its growing membership.
- Darcy Bryant: Darcy has been a member of the Laramie community for 30 years and a member of UniWyo since 1999. She graduated from the University of Wyoming in 1999 and is currently the Deputy Director of Business Services in the UW Operations Department. Darcy volunteered for UniWyo from 2008–2017 on the Supervisory Committee and has been a member of the Board of Directors since 2018. She brings her expertise in accounting and business/operational management to the board, as well as her dedication and commitment. She is excited about UniWyo’s future and the opportunity to continue to serve the UniWyo community.
